The Gateway Network Governance Body Ltd (GNGB) is an incorporated not-for-profit company, established by key stakeholders in the Superannuation Transaction Network.

Members of the GNGB have the opportunity to nominate Directors to the Board. Our Board is made up of:
- Three Directors from the superannuation funds sector
- One Director from the software sector
- Three Directors from the gateways sector
- One Director from the employer sector
- An Independent Chair
Our Executive Officer, Sarah O’Brien, reports to the Board, and chairs the regular Gateway Operator Meetings, which is the key operational governance activity of the GNGB. This monthly forum manages the monitoring and conformance activity of the STN, as well as providing a forum for the sharing of information, operational activity and experience for the Gateway Operator community.
To meet its obligations in managing any disputes, the GNGB appoints a Resolutions Group Standing Panel, from which a Resolutions Group is selected from time to time to manage specific disputes. The Standing Panel is made up of individuals who have specific expertise in matters that may be the subject of a dispute related to STN or GNGB matters.
The GNGB Executive Officer also chairs a Stakeholder Engagement Group, which brings together key stakeholders of the STN to discuss operational and industry matters related to GNGB activity.
